YOUTH HOMELESSNESS DEMONSTRATION PROGRAM IMPLEMENTATION
TAC has worked with many communities, both rural and urban, that have received Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) awards from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. TAC has supported efforts to expand meaningful youth engagement; identify local needs and develop programs to respond to these needs; and integrate broader systems of care into all planning and programming. Beyond initial startup, TAC has continued to support communities' YHDP planning efforts into the implementation phase, helping to address the complications that can arise when planning turns to action.
