NORTH CAROLINA DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES – OLMSTEAD SYSTEM ASSESSMENT & ANALYSIS

In early 2020, TAC was awarded a contract to assist the North Carolina Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) with the first phase of developing and implementing an Olmstead plan. This engagement consists of a system assessment and analysis that will provide the data as well as a framework for drafting a comprehensive Olmstead plan to address cross-disability needs. TAC and its partner, the Human Services Research Institute, will provide recommendations for: subsequent phases of plan development; technical assistance to support implementation activities; and development and implementation of a performance evaluation and outcome measurement system to monitor progress.
