MEDICAID INNOVATION ACCELERATOR PROGRAM TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE

Since 2015, through a subcontract with IBM Watson Health, TAC has provided subject matter expertise and technical assistance (TA) to states participating in two Program Areas under the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Medicaid Innovation Accelerator Program (IAP).

Under the Community Integration through Long-Term Services and Supports IAP Program Area, TAC has planned and delivered TA to states participating in both the Tenancy Support Webinar Series and State Medicaid-Housing Agency Partnerships Intensive Tracks. TAC’s work includes developing curricula, tools, and resources; coordinating and providing one-on-one facilitation; providing coaching support and housing and Medicaid/services subject matter expertise to states; and developing nationally disseminated webinars and products, including the recently released State Medicaid-Housing Agency Partnerships Toolkit.

Under the Substance Use Disorders IAP Program Area, TAC has developed curricula and provided coaching, facilitation, and subject matter expertise to over 35 states, supporting innovative approaches to using data analytics specific to Medicaid beneficiaries with Opioid Use Disorder.
