TAC is at the forefront of providing analysis and information on how to best make use of the opportunities and navigate the challenges presented by the Affordable Care Act (ACA). 

TAC's specific expertise includes:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of mental health and substance use service systems to help prepare for the expansion of enrollees and increased demand for services resulting from health reform.    
• Providing analysis, planning and implementation support to improve access to best practice mental health and substance use services for vulnerable populations under health reform.
• Assisting states to develop Medicaid-funded Health Homes for individuals with chronic conditions.
• Assisting providers in developing strategic plans to help ready them for changes in how mental health and substance use services are being purchased and financed.
