Call for Abstracts for International Homelessness Research Conference
The University of Pennsylvania and the National Center on Homelessness Among Veterans within the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) are calling for submissions of abstracts for an international research conference on homelessness crisis response systems. Abstracts should be on the topics that include, but are not limited to:
- Shelter diversion programs
- Rapid re-housing models
- Emergency shelter programs
- Street outreach
The conference, which is scheduled to take place June 3-4, 2013 in Philadelphia, PA also will feature plenary sessions on recent multinational studies of Housing First research demonstrations, and cost of homelessness studies. The deadline for abstract submissions is Friday, February 1, 2013.
