The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) recently awarded the Technical Assistance Collaborative, Inc. (TAC) $1.7 million under the Community Compass program competition. Community Compass is HUD's integrated technical assistance and capacity building initiative and is a collaborative effort among HUD and its grantees focused on equipping communities with the knowledge, skills, tools, capacity, and systems.

In 2013, TAC also received $2 million in HUD One CPD Plus TA & capacity building funds to assist with the implementation of the Section 811 Project Rental Assistance (PRA) Demonstration Program.
