TAC Releases Issue Brief on Supreme Court's Medicaid Expansion Ruling
On June 28, 2012, the Supreme Court upheld the constitutionality of the majority of the Affordable Care Act (ACA). TAC has prepared a brief titled The Future of Medicaid Expansion and Effects on People Experiencing Homelessness which discusses the Supreme Court's decision as it relates to the expansion of the Medicaid program and its effects on people experiencing homelessness or at risk of homelessness. The brief also describes how advocates can help promote access to health insurance and health care services for people experiencing homelessness.
