Sequestration Expected to Impact Important Homeless, Housing & Service Programs
Sequestration, the automatic cuts to security and non-security discretionary spending, is set to go into effect this Friday, March 1, 2013. This includes cuts to critical behavioral health, homeless, and affordable housing programs that support low-income people and people with disabilities. Last week, the White House released a state-by-state breakdown of sequestration's effects.
