SAMSHA Releases the National Behavioral Health Barometer

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recently released a national report providing an overview of substance use and mental health indicators. The National Behavioral Health Barometer reports on a set of substance use and mental health indicators, including rates of serious mental illness, suicidal thoughts, substance abuse, underage drinking, and the percentages of persons seeking behavioral health treatment. The data is presented nationally as well as for each of the states and the District of Columbia.
