On April 12, 2013, from 1:30-3:00 P.M. EDT, the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) will host a webinar on Building Relationships with Landlords. The webinar will focus on providing ideas, practical tools, and resources for working with private landlords to obtain housing in different settings and a discussion on tenant/landlord rights and responsibilities. The webinar will not cover the legal aspects of the tenant/landlord law nor provide legal advice, but rather ideas and suggested resources on how service providers can locate information on tenant/landlord laws, federal and local resources for obtaining housing, and will serve as a forum for asking questions on how best to work with landlords.
