SAMHSA Releases “Mayor’s Resource Guide on Behavioral Health Issues”
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recently released a resource guide for Mayor's and municipal leaders to increase understanding of behavioral health needs within their communities. This guide, entitled "Mayor's Resource Guide on Behavioral Health Issues", offers strategies and resources for preventing, treating, and supporting recovery from behavioral health problems. It is aimed at providing resources for community leaders to shape responses that promote mental health and substance abuse recovery.
