The U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) recently announced an upcoming webinar it will host titled "State Experiences Implementing an Olmstead Settlement Agreement." The webinar, which will take place on Friday, August 8 from 1:30 - 3:00 pm EDT, will feature representatives from two states implementing Olmstead settlement agreements (New Jersey and Illinois), and will describe their experiences, challenges, successes, and lessons learned. Presenters will address policy and operational issues in meeting the requirements of an Olmstead Settlement and will focus on issues related to the effective use of data to plan, monitor progress, and improve the quality of services.
