PRI Announces Research Grant Opportunity

Policy Research, Inc. (PRI) is accepting applications for the Disability Determination Process (DDP) Small Grant Program.  The DDP Small Grant Program is a one-year federally-funded stipend program that allows graduate students to conduct supervised independent research on improving the efficiency and reducing the complexity of disability determination processes. This program is directed by PRI of Delmar, New York, and is funded through a grant from the U.S. Social Security Administration (SSA).

Applicants must be masters, doctoral, or post-doctoral-level graduate students pursuing full-time studies in accredited programs at the time of the award (Fall semester of 2014) with an academic emphasis in topics of interest to disability programs.  Up to 25 students will receive a stipend of $10,000 for a one-year project. The application deadline is March 1, 2014.
