Peer Services Toolkit Released

ACMHA: The College for Behavioral Health Leadership has released Peer Services Toolkit: A Guide to Advancing and Implementing Peer-Run Behavioral Health Services, a comprehensive toolkit aimed at increasing the role of peer support in behavioral health. Among the topics covered by the toolkit include the nature of peer support and its origins, essential elements, core values, training and certification, outcomes,  providing services within peer-run and traditional agencies, state-level advocacy for peer support services, and tips for working with managed care companies.
