Created by the National Low Income Housing Coalition (NLIHC) and the Public and Affordable Housing Research Corporation (PAHRC), the National Housing Preservation Database was launched this week in an effort to provide communities with the information they need to effectively preserve their stock of public and affordable housing. The database incorporates all available data on federally subsidized housing properties and includes nine separate funding streams.  It can be filtered by location, funding stream, or 'at risk of loss' status, and includes a mapping tool that allows you to see where affordable housing is located in your community.
