National Institute on Disability Seeks Public Comment for New RRTC
The National Institute on Disability is soliciting comments on a Notice of Proposed Priority for a new Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (RRTC) on Family Support. RRTCs aim to improve rehabilitative policies and programs for people with disabilities through research, data analysis, and development and dissemination of informative materials. The proposed RRTC on Family Support would work to improve the effectiveness of federal and state policies and programs that assist families who support individuals with disabilities in the community.
The Notice of Proposed Priority is from the Assistant Secretary for Special Education and Rehabilitative Services. The Notice is posted in the Federal Register and will be open for public comment until April 23, 2014.
