TAC to Facilitate Webinar for County Behavioral Health Directors on HUD Homeless CoCs
TAC is partnering with the National Association of County Behavioral Health and Developmental Disability Directors (NACBHDD) to facilitate a webinar on HUD Homeless Continuums of Care (CoCs) - what they are, the resources they receive, and their importance to County behavioral health directors responsible for serving people with behavioral health conditions who also experience homelessness. CoCs are important partners for County behavioral health agencies. CoCs often spend HUD homeless program dollars that could go toward housing on funding services, and behavioral health departments often spend service dollars on housing. This webinar will discuss the role that County behavioral health directors can play both in terms of working in partnership with CoCs to reverse this trend, and in identifying unmet housing needs to help make the case for additional federal housing resources within states.
TAC Senior Staff Sherry Lerch and Gina Schaak will facilitate the webinar which will take place on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 3:30 PM EDT.
