Lynn Kovich Joins TAC as a Senior Consultant

TAC is pleased to announce that Lynn Kovich has joined the firm as a Senior Consultant. Ms. Kovich brings more than 20 years of experience in management and administration in behavioral health and affordable housing systems. Most recently, Lynn was Assistant Commissioner at the New Jersey Department of Human Services (DHS) overseeing the Division of Mental Health and Addiction Services, and served as Chair of the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) Housing Task Force. 

Lynn possesses a broad range of experience in state and county level behavioral health systems and Medicaid financing. Prior to DHS, she served as Human Services Director in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania where she had executive oversight of the county's public behavioral health and developmental disability system. Previously, she was also President of the Supportive Housing Association of New Jersey and Vice President at Alternatives, Inc., a New Jersey-based nonprofit service agency for homeless individuals and people with mental illness or developmental disabilities.

“I have known Lynn professionally for 15 years, her experience will be an asset to TAC's clients.  Her state and county government experience in behavioral health is critical to TAC’s mission of helping government agencies design and implement systems and services that work for people,” said TAC Executive Director, Kevin Martone.  

Kovich's experience includes development of community mental health and substance abuse service delivery systems and integrated community living options, oversight of a county-based managed Medicaid behavioral health carve-out, downsizing and consolidation of state psychiatric hospitals, statewide policy development, program analysis, and program certification and licensing requirements.

“I am honored to become part of the TAC team,” said Kovich. “I look forward to helping disability and homeless systems increase access to evidence-based services, integrated, affordable housing and gainful employment.”

TAC is a national, nonprofit leader that provides consultation and technical assistance to federal, state, and local government, providers, and other stakeholders on human services and affordable housing issues for people with disabilities, people who experience homelessness, and Veterans.  TAC works with clients at the service delivery and systems levels to improve the quantity and quality of services and housing needed by people with disabilities to achieve and maintain self-sufficiency in the community.
