Kevin Martone to Present on Role of State Psychiatric Hospitals at NASMHPD Commissioners Meeting
TAC Executive Director Kevin Martone will be a panelist at NASMHPD's 2014 Annual Commissioners Meeting being held July 27-29 in Washington, DC. The panel, which will take place Monday, July 28 from 3:15 - 4:30 p.m., will discuss recommendations from a recent NASMHPD Medical Directors Council Technical Report regarding the future role of state psychiatric hospitals.
Mr. Martone is the former Mental Health Commissioner for the State of New Jersey. Other panelists include:
- Joseph Parks, M.D., Former Chair of the NASMHPD Medical Directors Council and Report Editor; State Medicaid Director, State of Missouri
- John Allen, Special Assistant to the Commissioner, State of New York; Chair of the National Association of Consumer/Survivor Mental Health Administrators (NAC/SMHA)
