TAC Consultant John Morris Honored for Outstanding Achievement in Children’s Mental Health
TAC is proud to announce that John A. Morris, a long-time TAC Consultant and Executive Director of the Annapolis Coalition on Behavioral Health Workforce, has been selected as the co-recipient of the Blanche F. Ittleson Award for 2013. The American Orthopsychiatric Association's oldest, largest, and most prestigious award, the Ittleson Award is given for outstanding achievement in the delivery of children's services and the promotion of children's mental health.
John is being honored during the Fifth Annual Greenville Family Symposium in Greenville, SC on April 12, 2013 for his career contributions to the development of a humane and responsive mental health system - contributions that have come as a state mental health administrator and a national leader among both mental health professionals and mental health advocates. The Symposium is jointly sponsored by the American Orthopsychiatric Association, the Clemson University Institute on Family and Neighborhood Life, the Haruv Institute (of Israel), the International Family Therapy Association, and the International Society for Child Indicators.
