HUD Announces $33 Million in HOPWA Awards

On May 30, 2013, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) announced $33 million in grant awards through HUD's Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS Program (HOPWA) to assist more than 1,200 extremely low-income persons living with HIV/AIDS. These awards will renew HUD's support of 28 local programs in 17 states to provide housing assistance as well as access to supportive services such as case management and employment training.
