In March 2012, Downtown Emergency Services Center (DESC) and Pathways to Housing held the first ever national Housing First Partners (HFP) Conference in New Orleans, LA.  Together, DESC and Pathways to Housing successfully launched a foundational, national forum and dialogue for housing, health and mental health service providers, as well as federal, state and local government officials, researchers, advocates, trainers, peers and thought leaders engaged in ending homelessness through Housing First. 

Following the enormous success of the 2012 HFP Conference, a second conference will be held in Chicago, IL on March 12-14, 2014. This year's conference is set to be deeper in scope and programming, providing opportunities for dialogue on ending homelessness through the many facets of Housing First.
