First Annual Day-O’Hara Scholarship Awarded
In honor of TAC co-founders Steve Day and Ann O’Hara, TAC is delighted to announce the launch of the Day-O’Hara Community Integration Scholarship, a cash award to help individuals with disabilities realize their educational and professional goals. The first recipient, José Rafael Torres Duran, is a student in Human Services at Bunker Hill Community College and a member of the direct services team at the Boston Center for Independent Living. José hopes to build on his college degree to continue professionally serving people with disabilities, especially Spanish speakers.
