CMS Releases Guidance to States Regarding the ACA
On February 6, 2013 The Center for Medicare and Medicaid (CMS) released updated information about the implementation of the Affordable Care Act (ACA) through the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section of the Medicaid.gov website. This page includes topics such as:
- Eligibility and enrollment systems
- Children's Health Insurance Program (CHIP)
- Benefits/delivery system
- Section 1115 Waiver transitions
CMS will continue to update this page with answers to questions received from states and providers. Additional questions can be submitted to CMCSPPACAQuestions@cms.hhs.gov.
