TAC Associate Director Ann O’Hara Joins Panel of Experts to Discuss Integration of Housing & Health Policy
On September 12, Abt Associates hosted a forum on The Intersection of Housing Policy and Health at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C. The forum featured two expert panels who responded to a paper titled Making Subsidized Rental Housing a Platform for Improved Health for Vulnerable Populations. The paper presents proposals to target affordable housing more effectively to persons with vulnerable health issues, as well as for providing more complete and better coordinated health care to residents of subsidized housing. TAC Co-founder and Associate Director Ann O'Hara was among the panelists which included federal housing and health care program administrators, policy experts, and private sector housing leaders.
