USICH Releases PHA Guidebook to Ending Homelessness

Friday, November 15, 2013

The United States Interagency Council on Homelessness (USICH) recently released a new guidebook for public housing authorities (PHAs), which provides guidance and best practices that PHAs can use to strengthen their collaborative efforts.  The PHA Guidebook includes toolboxes that cover topics such as community planning, partnerships, and programs and policies.

PHAs play a critical role in providing affordable housing to extremely low-income households in their communities, and many have collaborated with community partners to plan how their resources can be used strategically to best support and align with efforts to prevent and end homelessness.
