VA Announces New SSVF Grants to Help End Veteran Homelessness

On March 31, 2015, U.S Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Secretary Robert A. McDonald announced the award of nearly $93 million in Supportive Services for Veteran Families (SSVF) 3-year grants that will help to prevent and end homeless for approximately 45,000 homeless and at-risk Veterans and their families. The grants will be distributed to 24 nonprofit agencies in 15 communities, with $30 million in awards being distributed to the Los Angeles area.

TAC, along with our partners Abt Associates and the National Alliance to End Homelessness (NAEH), provides technical assistance (TA), resource development, community coordination and direct training in an effort to continue to improve the SSVF program's implementation practices and outcomes nationwide.
