SAMHSA to Award $92 Million to Expand Systems of Care

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is currently accepting applications for Systems of Care (SOC) Expansion Implementation grants from state governments, Indian or tribal organizations, and governmental units. The purpose of the SOC grants is to expand mental health services for children and their families in order to improve behavioral health outcomes for children with serious emotional disturbances and provide support for their families. It is estimated that a total of 23 grantees will be selected to receive up to $1 million per year of implementation.
