RFP for Innovative Homeless Employment Collaborations

Friday, January 09, 2015

The National Center on Employment and Homelessness (NCEH), an initiative of Heartland Alliance’s National Initiatives On Poverty & Economic Opportunity, supports policy and practice related to employment as a key element in ending homelessness.  NCEH’s Connections Project is a three year, place-based, systems-level collaboration and capacity-building invitation to communities nationwide.

On January 9, 2015, a Connections Project Request for Proposals (RFP) was released which aims to identify, through a multi-phase competitive process, up to five Connections Project Sites that will plan, implement, and strengthen innovative systems collaboration ideas to meet the goal of increasing employment and economic opportunity for homeless jobseekers. NCEH and the Connections Project are supported by the Oak Foundation and the Melville Charitable Trust.
