Long-time TAC Consultant John A. Morris, M.S.W., a national leader in behavioral health, was recently honored by the University of South Carolina’s College of Social Work as a recipient of the Pioneer Award. The Pioneer Award is given by the faculty for outstanding work on the state and national levels that reflects the values and professionalism of social work practice at its highest level. The award is important both to honor the work of recipients and to inspire the next generation of social workers.

In addition, he has been an educator and researcher and is a national expert on workforce development in behavioral health, having both consulted and published extensively in this area.
